The Details are What Makes a Design Exquisite

We've kept our studio small by design. By doing so, Robert and I can keep our eyes, minds, souls and hands on every aspect of every brand design project. We know our clients come to us for their identity package. They have our full attention.

We do, however, enjoy working with a small team of talented people. They enrich our days (...which often turn into evenings...) and creative objectives.

Emily is extremely organized and has the ability to manage large projects, such as The Grand Del Mar Resort and Hotel Bel-Air. It takes a real talent to keep track of the multitude of elements that make an identity system distinct. Emily helps make every little piece the personification of beauty.

Emily Carlson, in her own words...

I've learned so much about production since I started here. I tend to be a very realistic person — so in the beginning, I limited my ideas to what I knew to be possible, what had been done before. Robert and Regina would say to me don't worry about how you are going to make it, just dream it— we'll figure out the details together later.

But I've also learned that the details are what make a design exquisite. It's not enough to have an excellent idea. How you execute that idea makes all the difference. And to execute well, you need an experienced partner who is as dedicated to quality and innovation as you are. Robert Louey and Regina Rubino have intentionally forged partnerships with these experts. Printers, artists, fabricators — they expect us to come to them with a challenge! It's a great feeling knowing they are there for us. I can put aside all my restrictions and free myself to be as imaginative as possible.
