An Influencer's Journey

My journey with IMAGE: Global Vision and Regina Rubino began as a freelance designer working in the studio. Later, I transitioned to off-site research. I used the word “journey”, because the emotional, intellectual and professional place where I started is miles away from where I stand today.

Studio work provided a basis of understanding for how the pieces come together from a ground level vantage point. I was indoctrinated into a different way of thinking, learning that project influencers include everybody on IGV’s team. It was a beautiful lesson in how collaboration sans ego works. When all team members are encouraged to share their point of view, ultimately the project benefits from the multitude of cooks in the kitchen. We all have our roles to play, each one of us approaches from a different perspective, ultimately meeting in the most strategically constructive position.

If you’re in the studio, it is inherently known that you’re dedicated, very serious about what you do, superlatively talented and committed to the process. So the level of mutual respect is indubitable. There’s a sober sense of purpose, we all understand that this is a signature approach, and so we contribute to the all-inclusive methodology with mutual respect, intellect and passion. With sensitivity and delight. Everyone in the studio is both accessible and essential to the process. It’s a mission quest.

Our team members include everyone from the client and their representatives, to the designers, writers, programmers, suppliers, photographers, videographers, chefs, printers and (of course) Regina Rubino, our vision leader. Regina shares her vision with us, then, aware of the intended direction, we’re released to create in our individual language, the visuals, research; ideas. Ultimately, under Regina’s direction, they cross pollinate and produce the most fantastic outcomes.
