The Building Blocks of Matter

The world around the studio is constantly orbiting, so to keep things moving smoothly, the studio must remain steadfast and it’s timetables reliable. The studio’s schedule is the nucleus. It stays the same to receive packages, and maintain the order of the day. However, when designers are working on overseas projects, they’ll adjust their schedules to overlap the normal workday with their overseas project base [i.e. if it’s a London-based project, they may need to come in or make a call earlier in the morning; if it’s an Asian based project, they’ll stay later in the evening when they need to coordinate with their overseas partners]. When Regina Rubino is traveling the communication flow is constant, regardless of the time difference, to keep things moving in the office. She, and Robert, tend to work almost around the clock ; )

I try to be aware of everything going on me, i.e. what needs to go out and when, whats coming in, and to channel to things to the appropriate person on a timely basis. I need to know what people are looking for, remaining the constant surrounded by perpetual motion, seeing the forrest clearly, while being grounded in the trees.
