Creative View

My love is landscape photography, and with a penchant for travel, I took every opportunity to jaunt off to many parts of the world, using every landing spot as a jumping off point for a new photographic adventure.

Two years ago, I graduated and began working for a real estate company that was targeting the Chinese market. It was interesting, in that I oversaw an entire team, albeit a small one — branding this company to create familiarity and comfort with the process of buying real estate in U.S. as well as the real estate company. Still, this wasn’t the challenge I was hoping for. And so, I enrolled in graphic design courses at UCLA’s extension school to grow the hands-on creative aspect of my skill set. I answered an ad seeking a Chinese translator. The soft spoken, sweet-voiced Regina Rubino was on the other side of this request. A significant percentage of her business is in Asia and abroad and Regina was traveling and so we finally met and I presented my resume. Regina immediately recognized a greater potential and told me a bit about IMAGE: Global Vision, and asked if I would return with my portfolio.
