As I turn the page from one project to the next, it strikes me that while the processes are very much the same, every one has a unique rhythm and opens my mind and heart to new perspectives and spiritual rewards. Very often one of the more integral parts of a project is the manifestation of creative vision into photograph. This is where the imaginary realm becomes reality, then returns to it’s two dimensional form to take it’s place within our printed page or the digital world.
Wrapping up a weeklong photo shoot at LA Live with an amazing team I will be sharing some of our thoughts and experiences on this creative process which starts with the concept and design, pre-shoot planning, location scouting, color and lighting decisions, scheduling and timing, and then final image selection and production.
