Blurring the line between dreams and reality, my life (thus far) is one of aspirations fulfilled.

My first project with Regina Rubino and Robert Louey was for their rebranding of Park Hyatt and entailed capturing architectural elements, interior spaces and food and social events. Because they were primarily hotels, this meant different locations — a lot of travel. I traveled nationally in the US and through Asia for well over six months during the first year.

Sometimes I was photographing the city, to capture the spirit of the environment. Photographing Cherry Blossom season in DC was magical. In Asia we reproduced a complete wedding, telling the story of the day, from beginning to end. We incorporated traditions from both Eastern and Western weddings — celebrating all facets of the ceremony and reception. The parties, entertainment, yachts, as well as the human aspect.

We were in Hong Kong, when a veil came over me, forever changing my perspective of my role in this world...Regina and Robert had helped me to achieve one of my highest goals. I felt accomplished, capable, and responsible for meaningful outcomes. I’ve managed to hold onto this feeling (and my charger’s reins) for a decade now. I’ve remained grateful for my continued relationship with Regina and Robert, and the different shoots and cities I’ve done for them over these many years.  Their energy, the type of clients they have, and the positive atmosphere permeated by their very creative, high quality collaborative team has been a foundation for my growth both professionally and experientially.
