Executive Film Producer inMotion with Regina Rubino and Robert Louey

Our partnership with Regina Rubino / IMAGE: Global Vision and Robert Louey Design/Pagenova is an example of the very wonderful things that can happen in business. In this case, a good relationship between one of our creative directors, Harold De Jesus, and Regina Rubino and Robert Louey resurfaced. Certainly we here at inMotion Studios knew Regina and Robert by reputation. But it was Harold, a former Louey/Rubino Design Group intern and Regina Rubino / IMAGE: Global VIsion employee in Hong Kong, who gave us a deeper insight into their methods and values. He often regaled us with fond memories and stories of his time there.

They all reconnected after inMotion was founded in 2005 and Regina moved back to Los Angeles. We helped with projects now and then. But as technology evolved and business conditions changed, we realized that there was a unique synergy between our companies. Especially since we were both eager to provide value-added services to our clients.

Obviously, they are image and design heavy in their approach. We too have some design background, but not at the level of their capability. What we do have is expertise in motion graphics and animation design and a deep understanding of the World Wide Web. Harold’s relationship with Regina and Robert creates seamless communication. He knows exactly what they mean by “a little more or a little less.” As a result, we’ve come to believe we’re perfect collaborators.

The bottom line is we are lucky to be working on a sizeable project in which we’ll be taking Louey/Rubino designs and making logos and flash video for the web. Our work includes montage editing, mood pieces and precise internal messaging. We assist in executing the goals of the brand in more precise ways using certain aspects of media.

Our ability to listen to a client and understand what their mid-range and long-term needs are is a boon. We’re doing what they do so well — listen. Then it is up to us to take a visual representation — their original designs — and together insert emotion so that the product delivers an impactful message.

These days, the way in which a corporation brands its products and services is not just a logo or two-dimensional mark. It is how the logo — and brand — is perceived by consumers. It’s a question of how brand fits into lifestyles. We’re able to indentify with brand and a company’s way of messaging — external and internal — and put it into piece that is the right mix of information and emotion. We do this through video, animation and audio. Gratefully, we begin with signature designs by Louey/Rubino. The trademark for excellent identity systems worldwide.
